The rapid progress in sensors, miniaturization, and connectivity has allowed wearable technology to surpass its initial limitations and go way beyond fitness tracking.
Designing electronics for wearables is a challenge faced by you and many other professionals. It typically involves working within compact form factors, incorporating low-power circuitry, and integrating data processing capabilities. The specialized expertise required to meet each of these demands isn’t always found in a single individual.
At Sentineo, we are experts in custom wearable electronics. From compact design and low-power processing to on-board processing algorithms, we’ve got it all covered. We’ve developed tailored systems that integrate diverse technologies, supporting applications in sports, biomedical, safety, and beyond.

For Epic Blue, we worked together to design a hardware platform for lone worker emergency service personnel localisation. We focused on the ability to know the location of responders and their proximity to threats and hazards in real-time. The small form factor PCB hosts accurate localization ICs and a range of wireless connectivity options.
Together with Bainisha, we designed a wearable sensor interfacing system to capture the ultra-accurate sensor measurements of the custom Bainisha sensor. The system is focused on low-power consumption while still retaining high data-rate sampling capabilities on the human body.
Together with Qicks, we designed a fitness tracker for aquatic environments. We helped them tackle the challenges of underwater connectivity and low power high performant sports algorithm processing on board of the battery powered device.
We assisted AlmaCare with the development of a custom Gait analysis firmware on the Movesense platfrom. The system was used to monitor elderly and assist in falling prevention in early stages of Gait deterioration.
We assisted Rombit to deliver the final electronic hardware in the Conamo project. This hardware was attached to professional cyclists' bikes to monitor their performance during competitions. Next to on-board data capture and connectivity with sensors on the athlete, a mesh network communication topology was used to transfer data easily through the peloton.
